GCY Accountants is an accounting firm that offers services including but not limited to GST, tax planning, tax structures, incidental advice with regard to investments to client base in excess of 1400 ranging from basic salary and wage and investment return through to a publicly listed corporation. The client base consists of a public company, private companies, superannuation funds, partnerships, trusts and individuals.

GCY Accountants was founded in 1998 by the principal, George Yanardasis, who has extensive experience in taxation, accounting and audits. The principal was an assessor and auditor with the Australian Taxation Office for in excess of six years. In 1989 he entered a partnership and formed the practice VY Accountants (formerly Valassakis Yanardasis).

The principal’s qualifications include being a Bachelor of Commerce (graduated 1983), a Fellow with CPA Australia, a Fellow with the Taxation Institute of Australia and a Registered Tax Agent pursuant to the Income Tax Assessment Act.

GCY Accountants’ team comprises the Principal, six Accountants (who are members of CPA Australia), an Office Manager/Personal Assistant, a Data Processing Manager, a Receptionist and other Admin staff who are all willing to help in any way they can.
